Our Story

Our Story

Leslie and Terry were introduced into the spray tanning industry around 2005, and quickly became addicted to the idea you could achieve a beautiful tan without damaging your skin by exposing it to dangerous UV rays. So after a lot of research, training and planning we created the Tan Bar over a decade ago. in March of 2011, we hit a milestone by opening up our first retail store front. We created an environment that offers a discreet, comfortable and  enjoyable tanning experience. We strive  to deliver excellent results in each custom airbrush tanning session.  We have the BEST staff. Years of experience, as well as requiring all staff to complete our in-house, extensive training.

Our Dedication to Clients

Committed to our clients, we rely on our professional knowledge and techniques to provide you with the best custom airbrush spray tan that suits your skin type, hair, eyes and the event you are tanning for.  We want you to feel and look amazing while providing a healthy alternative to traditional UV tanning.

Our Dedication to Community

We believe if you have a small business, you must get involved in your community.  We work with many local charities by either giving donations, sponsoring events, running service discount-inspired specials. We have worked with such organizations as the Dallas Children’s Advocacy, Dallas SPCA, North Texas Food Bank and many more incredible organizations.  It is our opinion, that if you bring a business into a community, then you need to take responsibility and do what you can to keep that community thriving, assisting those in need and being a positive influence.

Our Dedication to Healthier Skin

All of the products we use are made with natural, anti-aging ingredient formulas that contain Eco-certified DHA.  Compared to tanning beds and direct exposure to sunlight, airbrush tanning provides results without harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation. UV rays can cause mild to severe skin damage.  Damage could be as minor as dry skin, wrinkles, or freckles OR the damage could be as serious as skin cancer. According to The American Skin Cancer Foundation, skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States.  3.5 million cases are diagnosed annually, and it is reported that 1 in 5 Americans will develop some form of skin cancer.

The reality is, what an individual does to his/her skin on a regular basis, eventually will have lasting impacts.

Let the Tan Bar be a part of your healthy lifestyle when it comes to your tanning needs.
